Produção mundial de alumínio cai 11,5% em fevereiro ante janeiro

A produção mundial de alumínio caiu 11,5% para 1,854 milhão de toneladas (t) em fevereiro, de 2,094 milhões de t em janeiro, de acordo com o Instituto Internacional do Alumínio (IAI, na sigla em inglês). A produção diminuiu em todas as regiões do mundo. Na América do Norte, o recuo foi de 15% no mês, enquanto na Ásia houve queda de 6,7%. Na comparação com o mesmo período de 2008, a queda foi de 8,6%.
