Produção mundial de aço aumenta 7% em janeiro

Segundo a Worldsteel Association, os 67 países acompanhados pela entidade produziram 136,5 milhões de toneladas de aço em janeiro, alta de 7% ante o mesmo mês de 2016.;A Worldsteel Association informou, ontem (21), que os 67 países que a entidade acompanha produziram 136,5 milhões de toneladas de aço em janeiro deste ano, aumento de 7% ante o mesmo mês do ano passado. No Brasil, a produção totalizou 2,9 milhões de toneladas, alta de 14,4% na comparação com o primeiro mês de 2016.Com esse nível produtivo, o uso de capacidade das siderúrgicas ao redor do mundo atingiu 68,5%, disse a associação. Um ano antes, a taxa era de 65,1%, e no último mês de 2016, atingiu 67,6%.De acordo com os dados publicados pela Worldsteel, a produção de aço bruto em janeiro na China aumentou 7,4%, para 67,2 milhões de toneladas. Esse nível foi praticamente o mesmo de dezembro, contido, em parte, por causa do feriado de Ano Novo Lunar no fim do mês.No restante da Ásia excluindo os chineses, o volume fabricado pelos países foi a 26,2 milhões de toneladas, 6,1% a mais na comparação anual e aumento de 3% ante o último mês do ano passado. A Índia foi destaque, com 8,4 milhões de toneladas, crescimentos de 12% e 0,1%, respectivamente.Enquanto isso, a União Europeia produziu 13,8 milhões de toneladas, volume 2,4% maior do que em janeiro de 2016 e 5,8% mais do que em dezembro. Na Rússia, a produção de aço bruto totalizou 6,2 milhões de toneladas, alta de 11,6% ante janeiro do ano passado e queda de 0,5% na comparação com dezembro de 2016.As informações divulgadas pela Worldsteel também apontam para crescimento nos Estados Unidos. O país produziu 6,9 milhões de toneladas, aumento de 6,5% na comparação anual e de 3,9% na mensal. O país é um dos que têm melhor perspectiva para o volume de aço fabricado, por conta das promessas do novo presidente Donald Trump de investir em infraestrutura.Além disso, com o avanço na comparação anual de 14,4% na produção brasileira em janeiro, para 2,9 milhões de toneladas, o país passou a representar 2,1% do total mundial, frente a 1,9% em janeiro do ano passado e 1,6% em dezembro.
