Instituto Alcoa incentiva empreendedorismo juvenil em Juruti

A turma do Programa Miniempresa, promovido pela parceria entre Instituto Alcoa, Junior Achievement, empresas locais e Prefeitura de Juruti, trouxe inovações incluindo responsabilidade social e ambiental na gestão da fábrica de cabides de alumínio. No ano de 2018, vinte e seis estudantes foram beneficiados pelo programa que já ocorre pelo sexto ano em Juruti como iniciativa social da Alcoa, mineradora de bauxita na região.
Um dos grandes diferenciais da turma foi a implementação de canecas para todo o efetivo, eliminando os copos descartáveis e introduzindo os conceitos da Produção Mais Limpa. Os estudantes venderam 100% da produção e geraram lucro aos acionistas. Além disso, os valores arrecadados com impostos e encargos pela empresa fictícia “Metalbides”, beneficiaram crianças e adolescentes da Casa de Acolhimento Deus Conosco por meio da doação de materiais, demonstrando a responsabilidade social na prática pelos jovens empreendedores.
A proposta do programa é estimular os alunos a vivenciarem na prática o senso de liderança e responsabilidade na operação de uma empresa de verdade. Gestão, finanças, vendas, administração, produtividade. Esses foram alguns dos conceitos trabalhados durante 15 jornadas no contraturno escolar de alunos da Escola Estadual Raimundo de Sousa Coelho, orientados por funcionários voluntários da Alcoa e de empresas contratadas.
“A Alcoa, por meio desse programa, proporciona à juventude a vivência prática da gestão e do empreendedorismo. Independentemente da carreira que decidirem seguir, seja conduzindo o próprio negócio, seja como empregado, o espírito empreendedor é fundamental e tenho certeza que estamos contribuindo com o aprendizado e a experiência profissional desses jovens”, frisou Rogério Ribas, gerente de Assuntos Institucionais e Recursos Humanos da Alcoa Juruti.
“Participar do Miniempresa foi uma experiência única. A partir do curso, agora sabemos como nos portar em uma empresa, trabalhar em equipe. Aprendemos a nunca desistir dos nossos objetivos”, contou Lucas Pereira, estudante que teve a função de Presidente da Miniempresa Metalbides.
“Essas ações são de suma importância, tanto para o crescimento dos jovens, quanto para a cidade de Juruti, uma vez que incentivam as pessoas a descobrirem novas oportunidades. Quando você fortalece a juventude, fortalece também a economia local. Com essa parceria com a Alcoa, só temos a progredir, já que esse programa é um benefício para a população que vai além dos benefícios gerados diretamente pela mineração”, destacou Sidne Coimbra, Secretária de Administração de Juruti.
Em seis edições do Miniempresa, 121 alunos de 3 escolas de Juruti foram beneficiados e produziram 5.697 unidades de cabides. Todas as turmas do Miniempresa em Juruti foram bem sucedidas, realizando a venda de 100% dos cabides produzidos e gerando lucro aos acionistas das empresas fictícias que anualmente se renovam e buscam suas estratégias para empreender no mercado.
