Receita da Serabi com ouro duplica no terceiro trimestre

Os resultados do terceiro trimestre da Serabi Gold mostram que as operações da empresa no Brasil tiveram receita de US$ 16,21 milhões, quase o dobro dos US$ 8,37 milhões registrados no terceiro trimestre de 2015. A companhia funciona no país por meio da Serabi Mineração, que tem duas minas de ouro em Itaituba, no Pará.Segundo o relatório trimestral divulgado hoje (14) no Canadá e no Reino Unido, a receita acumulada de janeiro a setembro é de US$ 42,1 milhões, valor 56% acima da receita acumulada no mesmo período do ano passado, que foi de US$ 27 milhões.
O lucro líquido da empresa acumulado nos nove primeiros meses do ano chega US$ 1,472 milhão, cerca de R$ 5,1 milhões. O custo operacional total da onça de ouro ficou em US$ 772 no período de janeiro a setembro, enquanto o preço médio de venda foi de US$ 1.256 por onça de ouro. Esse preço de venda foi 8,6% acima do preço médio no ano anterior.
A produção de ouro passou de 22.270 onças, de janeiro a setembro de 2015, para 29.900 onças neste ano. Enquanto o custo total de produção subiu de 894, em 31 de dezembro de 2015, para 951 neste ano. ?O terceiro trimestre produziu mais um resultado satisfatório, tanto operacionalmente quanto financeiramente. A produção de 10.233 onças de ouro foi mais um recorde sendo 3% superior ao trimestre anterior? disse Clive Line, diretor financeiro da mineradora.
Line diz que os custos da Serabi, em reais, continuam a ser relativamente estáveis, e que tanto a economia quanto a moeda brasileira continuam a se beneficiar da entrada positiva de investimentos, completados pelos impostos pagos pela repatriação de recursos que foram enviados de forma irregular e não declarada ao exterior e que agora retornam devido à anistia e redução da multa promovida pelo governo federal.
No terceiro trimestre, a produção da mina foi de 43.133 toneladas, 28% maior em relação ao trimestre anterior, sendo que 31.916 toneladas, da mina Palito, tinham 9,52 gramas de ouro por tonelada, e 11.217 toneladas, da mina São Chico, tinham teor de 9,88 gramas de ouro por tonelada.
A empresa manteve a previsão de produção de ouro, em 2016, em aproximadamente 39.000 onças e o custo total entre US$ 950 e US$ 985 por onça, o que ?reflete a força contínua do real brasileiro, que se valorizou em 19% desde março de 2016?, diz a mineradora em nota.
