Projeto de ouro em GO pode render R$ 555 Mi a investidores

O investimento no projeto Mara Rosa, da Amarillo, pode gerar 300 empregos diretos por 8 anosA Amarillo Gold, dona do projeto de ouro Mara Rosa, em Goiás, divulgou hoje (7) os resultados do estudo atualizado de pré-viabilidade. O trabalho realizado pela consultoria SRK mostra que o valor presente líquido do empreendimento, usando uma taxa de desconto de 5%, é de US$ 178 milhões, ou R$ 555 milhões pelo câmbio de hoje.O estudo se refere ao depósito de ouro Posse, parte do projeto Mara Rosa, que consiste em dois cenários com minas a céu aberto. Um destes cenários considera que a Amarillo será a operadora, enquanto que no outro, são contratadas empreiteiras para executar o serviço de lavra.”O cenário com as empreiteiras foi selecionado como o principal caso-base, primariamente devido ao Capex [investimento de capital] significativamente mais baixo e à elevada taxa interna de retorno (TIR)”, diz o comunicado divulgado hoje. O trabalho tem como premissas o preço do ouro a US$ 1.200 a onça e a taxa de câmbio de R$ 3,20 para US$ 1.O estudo diz ainda que a despesa de capital inicial, incluindo capital de giro, seria de US$ 148 milhões, dentro do cenário em que as operações seriam terceirizadas. Nesse mesmo cenário, a taxa interna de retorno (TIR) seria de 35,2%, enquanto que o pay back, tempo de retorno do investimento, seria de 2,2 anos.Outras premissas consideram que o custo operacional de produção, equivalente ao C1, seria de US$ 545 por onça, enquanto que o custo global, ou AISC, seria de US$ 627 por onça de ouro. As reservas provadas e prováveis estão estimadas em 997.536 onças, sendo que o volume recuperável de ouro ao longo da vida útil da mina, cerca de oito anos, é de 892.000 onças, considerando uma taxa de recuperação de 92%.A produção média nos quatro primeiros anos deve chegar a 140.000 onças e a relação estéril-minério foi estimada em 4,5:1.”A atualização do PFS [estudo preliminar de viabilidade] indica que Mara Rosa representa uma operação robusta com uma única mina e de pay-back rápido, sendo que os principais indicadores tiveram melhoria considerável comparado ao estudo de 2011″, diz a mineradora em nota. As maiores mudanças estão no câmbio e na relação estéril minério que passou de 8,2 para 4,5.O empreendimento pode gerar 300 empregos diretos ao longo de oito anos e movimentar US$ 1 bilhão na região. O projeto já tem licença prévia e está a caminho da licença de implantação (LI), disse o CEO Buddy Doyle, em nota. A SRK Consulting contou com a colaboração da Onix Engenharia e Consultoria.
