Canaã dos Carajás terá distrito industrial

Canaã dos Carajás, município paraense que abriga a operação de minério de ferro S11D, da Vale, terá um distrito industrial, assim como os municípios de Castanhal, Santa Bárbara do Pará, Abaetetuba e Tucuruí. Ontem (8), representantes da Prefeitura de Canaã entregaram a Olavo das Neves, presidente da Companhia de Desenvolvimento Econômico do Estado (Codec), a solicitação de apoio técnico para a instalação do distrito industrial no município.
O próximo passo é a assinatura de um Termo de Cooperação, para firmar a parceria da Codec com a Prefeitura, voltada a incentivar o crescimento da atividade industrial na região. As informações são da Agência de Notícias do Pará.
