THE INTERNATIONAL MINING LAW CONGRESS
The International Mining Law Congress (DIRMIN) is an excellent opportunity for promoting further integration between legal careers available with the state and those connected to the mining sector and other production segments. DIRMIN’s main objective is to map out a panoramic view of the mining industry and debate different perspectives. It also aims to provide an expansive overview of Brazilian and international mining and the legal areas involved in mining in Brazil and other countries. During the event, debates are held on important decisions and interpretations made by the Courts, as well as pressing issues hindering activities that are an inherent part of the sector.
The event’s target audience is made up of individuals from a wide range of areas: government legal representatives active at different hierarchical levels, law office managers and legal consultants working in the mining sector, including partners from some of the most well-renowned law offices throughout Brazil and various other countries, and representatives from trade associations. Participating in the event are also executives and technicians from different ministries and public organs that are responsible for developing policies related to the mining sector.
