MDIC designates IBRAM to compose the National Council for Industrial Development (CNDI)

This Monday (19), in the Federal Official Gazette (DOU), Ordinance GM/MDIC nº 162, of June 16, 2023, was published, which provides for the designation of members of civil society to compose the National Council of Industrial Development (CNDI).
The members are the top managers of the following institutions: Brazilian Food Industry Association (Abia); Brazilian Chemical Industry Association (Abiquim); National Association of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (Anfavea); FarmaBrasil Group; Brazilian Plastic Industry Association (Abiplast); Brazilian Chamber of the Construction Industry (CBIC); Brazilian Association of Infrastructure and Basic Industries (Abdib); Brazilian Electrical and Electronics Industry Association (Abinee); Institute of Studies for Industrial Development (IEDI); Brazilian Association of the Semiconductor Industry (Abisemi); Association of National Technological Development and Innovation Companies (P&D Brazil); Brazilian Machinery and Equipment Industry Association (Abimaq); Embraer S.A.; Association of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Digital Technologies (Brasscom) Companies; Union of the Sugarcane and Bioenergy Industry (Única); Single Workers’ Central (CUT); Union Force; General Union of Workers (UGT); National Confederation of Industry (CNI); Brazilian Mining Institute (IBRAM); and Brazil Steel Institute.
The following were invited to participate in the meetings: Department of Statistics and Socioeconomic Studies (Dieese); Gerdau S.A.; Institute of Applied Economic Research (Ipea); National Association of Manufacturers of Electronic Products (Electros); Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (Fiesp); Petrobras; National Union of the Component Industry for Motor Vehicles (Sindipeças); Union of the Pharmaceutical Products Industry (Sindusfarma); Research Pharmaceutical Industry Association (Interfarma); Brazilian Association of Medical Devices Industry (Abimo); National Confederation of Health, Hospitals, Establishments and Services (CNS); Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil (CNA); Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (Abit); Brazilian Association of Footwear Industries (Abicalçados); Brazilian Association of Toy Manufacturers (Abrinq); and the National Biotechnology Association (Anbiotec).
