IBRAM seeks global trends and innovations in the industrial sector during Hannover Messe

Considered the largest industrial technology event in the world, Hannover Messe directs trends and directions in the global industry and promotes innovations in sustainability.
The Brazilian Mining Institute (IBRAM) and businesspeople and government representatives from Rio Grande do Sul and Minas Gerais, as well as leaders from various sectors of Brazilian industry, were present at Hannover Messe, the renowned industrial fair based in Germany, held last week of April (22nd to 26th).
Over the years, Hannover Messe has been an epicenter of innovation and sustainability in the industry, highlighting several emerging trends. In 2024, the event focused on the theme “Energizing a Sustainable Industry”. During this period, topics such as zero-carbon production, renewable energy, industry 4.0, manufacturing-X, hydrogen cell and fuel cell technologies, as well as the growing role of artificial intelligence were explored.
30IBRAM was represented by Alexandre Mello, director of Associative Affairs and Climate Change, who emphasized the importance of Brazil seeking commercial partnerships related to technology and artificial intelligence to drive significant changes in mining. During the event, Mello also had the opportunity to visit Claas, the main tractor company in Germany, and the fully automated Volkswagen utility vehicle factory.
