IBRAM and associates will donate R$1 million to repair the public assets of the three powers

With this donation, the mineral sector and the companies that comprise it want to demonstrate to society that Democracy must have everyone’s support.
IBRAM – Mineração do Brasil (www.ibram.org.br), a non-partisan entity, and the associated mining companies will donate R$ 1 million to be used to repair the public property of the three powers in Brasilia, vandalized this Sunday (January 8th) ). It is a symbolic gesture to reaffirm our commitment to Democracy.
Every Brazilian must feel affected by the attacks launched against the powers of the Republic. It is time for each one to demonstrate that violence cannot be accepted as a way to protest and impose wills. Reconciling the country is essential for social and economic development.
Supporting the repair of damages is a decision made by IBRAM and the associated mining companies to emphasize their belief in and respect for Democracy, a condition for social justice and preservation of the environment.
