As a private, non-profit national organization, the Brazilian Mining Institute (IBRAM) represents companies and institutions operating in the mineral sector, aiming to establish an environment conducive to business, competitiveness, and sustainable development. IBRAM works to defend the common interests of the mining sector with public authorities (executive, legislative and judicial branches) in Brasília (DF) and in other mining states and municipalities.

As a member, you will have access to a broad exchange of ideas and knowledge, as well as discussions on challenges in the mining sector and topics of interest to the mining industry, especially at events promoted by the Institute. To encourage participation, IBRAM offers members discounts on registration fees.

The events promoted by the Institute are in high demand, and the best spaces for setting up booths at trade shows are always quickly sublet. Members have priority in choosing and subletting spaces at trade shows such as EXPOSIBRAM.

Because they operate in a dynamic and globalized market, business owners need to stay constantly updated on the sector both nationally and internationally. By joining IBRAM, companies periodically receive information of interest to the mining segment through a news briefing (sent daily by email), monthly newsletters, the Mining Industry Journal (a bimonthly publication), among others.

The Institute's headquarters are located in a prime area of the Federal Capital. All members can request the use of spaces in IBRAM's facilities to host meetings and events for their company.

By joining IBRAM and integrating its Technical Committees and Working Groups, you and your company will benefit from the combined efforts of high-level professionals who develop various projects of paramount importance to the mineral sector. Currently, IBRAM has two committees: a legal committee, which aims to examine proposals and legal issues related to mining activities, as well as guide and suggest actions to be considered and decided by the Institute's Board of Directors and Executive Board; and a communications committee, which works on the image of mining in the eyes of Brazilian society.
